Finally... after 3 years of waiting...

WE GOT GOLD!
AND, THE GUYS GOT SILVER!

Sigh.. it's the last and concluding competition for most of my teammates. Oh man... it's so depressing. I don't really have chances to meet and talk to them in school and oh well, let's just say i might not meet them again after they graduate.

Yeah we took ALOT of photos for memory's sake yesterday. I didnt bring my camera! Argh anyway I got Jas to take for me so yes, I WILL be uploading them onto this blog soon.

Hmm.. besides those sad thoughts, I must say we're pround to get a total of five silver, four golds and two bronze throphies! I'm currently chatting with Grace and she thinks I must be really happy with such a windfall. Actually, i'm rather sad. Yeah yeah it's gonna be a depressing entry again I know, but hey, this competition marks the LAST time they're gonna fence! It's really the last time I'd see them fence! Gosh I can still rememeber the times we spent together in sec one training so damn dilligently and what, aspiring to be national fencers, thinking of what we're gonna print at the back of our lames, bring blades back to train on our own... let's just say it's a full-stop to that chapter in our lives now.

But anyway, on a lighter note, we'd be the first team in history to get gold in the 1st Inter-school National Competition! Hmm that's nice. At least I'd be able to remember my teammates the next time Fencing Singapore organises an inter-school. Ahh... for that, we're getting the principal to hand out our throphies during morning assembly on monday! Ey hello fencing has remained so unheard of unlike volleyball! At times when we get medals, the school doesn't even announce our achievements. Hahah, again, unlike volleyball, they would jump at every opportunity to get their sport recognised. *sticks out tongue*

[Ok Danial or Daryl, if you happen to read this, no offence. I'm not trying to target you guys or volleyball in general, just trying to say that you guys inspire us to be the same. Heh.]

Alright I guess that's all about what I have to say. I'm rather glad that the RI fencers won't be quitting fencing after secondary school. At least I still have friends! Yeah and I took pictures with them too! Shall upload them next time.
